Your Team Travels — We Build Everything Around the Game
For 38 years, Executive Global Tours has built customized sports travel — golf tours, hosted departures with sporting legends, and group journeys across Ireland, Scotland and Europe. The same machinery that moves a golf group moves a team: hotels that suit a travelling party, transfers that run on time, fixtures and training arranged on the ground, and hosted evenings that turn a trip into a memory.
This page is for the team side of that work: college football fans and alumni travelling to Dublin’s annual classic, college teams and clubs touring Ireland, Scotland and Europe, and supporters’ groups following their team on the road. EGT is a Tourism Ireland approved tour operator, based in the Bronx, New York, with an office in Ireland — so your group is looked after on both sides of the Atlantic, by people who know both ends of the journey.
Tell us the fixture, the tour or the idea. We will build the travel around it.
College Football in Dublin — Fan & Alumni Travel
Every year, college football crosses the Atlantic to Dublin, where two American programmes meet at the Aviva Stadium in front of a travelling crowd of fans, alumni, families and bands. It is one of the great weekends in the college sports calendar — a real game, in a real football city, with Ireland wrapped around it.
EGT builds the land programme for fans and alumni groups making that trip: the hotels, the transfers, the welcome, the golf and the evenings. One point to be plain about: game tickets are sold through the schools and the event’s own official channels, and our guests hold their own tickets. What we build is everything around the game — and we build it properly.
The shape of the week — Dublin, Wednesday to Monday:
- Arrive Dublin midweek — settle into a central hotel as the city fills with travelling supporters
- Welcome reception and hosted dinner with your group
- A golf day option — Portmarnock or Royal Dublin for the golfers; the Book of Kells, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum and the city’s sights for everyone else
- A hosted whiskey tasting in one of Dublin’s historic distilleries
- Game day — a hosted pre-game gathering, transfers to the Aviva, and a celebration night with the group after the game
- A day beyond the capital — west to Galway, or south to Kilkenny and the Wicklow mountains
- Depart Monday — or extend into a full Ireland journey with our team
The 2027 edition brings Pittsburgh and Wisconsin to the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, August 28, 2027, and groups are forming now. Alumni chapters, fan clubs and family parties of any size are welcome — the programme is built around your group, not the other way round.
Make it yours: add a second golf day, a private distillery evening, or turn the trip into a full week taking in Killarney, the Cliffs of Moher and the west.
Team Tours — Ireland, Scotland & Europe
For college teams and clubs, a tour is about more than the fixtures: it is training in a new setting, games against local opposition, and a shared week that a squad remembers long after the season ends. EGT builds touring programmes for American football, rugby, ice hockey and soccer parties travelling to Ireland, Scotland and Europe.
We arrange the full programme on the ground: a training base that suits your sport and your schedule, friendly fixtures against local teams arranged through our contacts in each country, hotels that feed and rest a travelling squad properly, all transfers, and a sightseeing programme that gives players — and the families and supporters travelling with them — a real experience of the places they are visiting.
A sample shape — a week in Ireland:
Day 1 — Arrive Dublin. Settle in, shake off the flight with a light training session, and gather for a welcome dinner.
Day 2 — Training & the City. Morning training at your base; the afternoon in Dublin — the Book of Kells, the Guinness Storehouse and the city’s historic streets.
Day 3 — Fixture Day. A friendly against local opposition, hosted hospitality after the match, and an evening with both squads together.
Day 4 — The West. Travel to Galway by way of the Cliffs of Moher — or a full rest day, as your coaching staff prefers.
Day 5 — Training & Culture. Training in the west, then an afternoon of Irish sport and culture — many touring parties try their hand at Gaelic games with a local club.
Day 6 — Second Fixture & Farewell. A second friendly, and a farewell dinner with music to close the week.
Day 7 — Departure. Transfers to the airport — or extend the tour into Scotland or Europe with our team.
Make it yours: every team tour is built with your coaching staff — fixture levels, training load, rest days and sightseeing are set by what your programme needs.
Alumni & Supporters’ Groups
Some of the best trips we build never touch a training pitch. Alumni chapters, fan clubs and supporters’ groups travel for the occasion — an away fixture, a rivalry weekend, a tournament — and they want the travel handled by people who treat the occasion with the same seriousness they do.
EGT builds these journeys around your group’s fixture: group hotels together, transfers that keep the party in one piece, hosted dinners and gatherings, golf days for those who play, and a full programme for those who travel for the company rather than the sport. Families, partners and non-playing travellers are looked after as carefully as the fans — that has been the EGT way for 38 years.
Golf, Built In
Sport and golf travel together naturally, and golf is where EGT began. Any college or team programme can carry a golf layer: a championship-course day inside a fan trip, rounds for parents and supporters while the squad trains, or a full golf extension before or after the main event.
In Ireland, that means the famous links of the Dublin coast and the southwest — Portmarnock, Royal Dublin, Lahinch and Ballybunion country. In Scotland, we can secure guaranteed tee times on the Old Course at St Andrews, arranged with notice. Tell us how much golf your group wants, and we will weave it into the journey.
How EGT Works
- One point of contact — your group deals with one office from first call to final transfer
- 38 years of group logistics — the same team that runs EGT’s hosted legend tours, including our NHL Alumni Tour parties to Ireland, builds your programme
- Money held safely — deposits are held in escrow, and every detail of your programme is confirmed in writing before you travel
- On the ground at both ends — a New York base and an Ireland office, with local partners across Scotland and Europe
- A hosted touch, if you want it — EGT’s tours travel with sporting legends; ask us about adding a hosted dinner or an after-dinner talk to your group’s programme
Plan Your Trip
College and team programmes are built one group at a time — there are no set departures and no packages off a shelf. Tell us your team, your fixture or your tour idea, your rough dates and your numbers, and we will come back with a programme shaped around your group.
