LOCAL KNOWLEDGE YOU CAN TRUST
38 Years of Crafting Unforgettable Golf & Travel Experiences
JP began his career in Irish tourism at the age of 16 — 38 years later, that same passion shapes every bespoke journey we create.
JP’s roots run deep on both sides of the Irish Sea. He grew up between Roscrea, Moneygall, Maynooth and Dublin, and started working in Irish tourism at just 16 — before bringing that craft to the States. With family still in Roscrea, Moneygall, Maynooth and Dublin, and across England in London, Blackburn and Manchester, he returns several times a year, leading tours himself. This isn’t a place he sells. It’s home.
Our team are natives of Ireland and Scotland. We grew up on these fairways, we know the hidden gems, the best pubs, the local caddies, and the courses the tourists miss.
When you travel with EGT, you’re not getting a generic tour operator — you’re getting insiders who call Ireland and Scotland home. That local knowledge means better tee times, better experiences, and trips you’ll never forget.
WHERE WE TAKE YOU
We organize tours to Ireland (north and south), Scotland, England, Wales, Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Japan, Argentina, South Africa, Brazil, Colombia, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Dubai — for golf.
We also offer culinary and wine tours, whiskey, beer, cycling, skiing, football/soccer, NFL, NBA, and rugby tours.
Many of our tours are led by sports stars, TV and movie personalities, and famous chefs.
38 years of pure passion.

Travelling well, locally
EGT trips are built the way they’ve been built for 38 years: small groups, local guides, and family-run hotels, restaurants and producers wherever we can — the distillery family, the guesthouse owners, the clubhouse kitchen that knows our groups by name. Travelling by coach together keeps many cars off country roads, and spending locally is what keeps the places we love worth visiting. That’s not a slogan for us; it’s simply how a tour company run by people from the places we visit has always worked.

A Voice for Sports Tourism
Long before this website, JP was telling the EGT story out loud — talking sports tourism and golf on TV and radio, on podcasts and in newspapers, for years. It is that voice, and the welcome behind it, that built this business.
With VisitBritain in Los Angeles
JP with the VisitBritain team in Los Angeles — building the partnerships behind EGT’s Britain tours, ahead of the Britain & Ireland Marketplace this January.
A Love of the Game, Handed Down
My love of golf was handed down to me. My grandfather, Judge John E. Cone, and my father, John E. Cone Jr., were instrumental in my life — two well-known and deeply respected men of the law in New York who loved golf and sport, and who instilled that same love in me. That love became Executive Global Tours, and it is the same welcome we extend to every guest who travels with us today.

The Irish Roots — the Sharpe Family
The other half of JP’s story: his mother Mary Frances’s family, the Sharpes, in Ireland — his maternal grandfather at the heart of the family, with Mary Frances among them. It is from these Irish roots that Executive Global Tours grew.
Hand-Selected Golf Destinations
Our model is simple: exceptional travel destinations that create a complete vacation experience, with golf as the primary interest. That concept sets Executive Global Tours apart. The Dominican Republic is home to the highest-rated golf courses in the Caribbean, and Mexico’s Riviera Maya and Los Cabos are right behind. Across the Atlantic, discover Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Portugal and Italy — or travel within the USA. And if you can’t find your preferred golf vacation destination on our site, call us and we’ll make it happen.
Advanced Booking
Golf travel groups and overseas travelers benefit most from our ability to book well in advance. Our long-standing relationships with preferred golf courses, hotels and resorts let us make your golf travel arrangements early — including guaranteed tee times on the Old Course at St Andrews — so the best courses, the best rooms and the best times are secured before they’re gone. We also offer seasonal early booking incentives. Call Executive Global Tours at (914) 979-2247 and let’s get your trip on the calendar.
Golf Destinations Around the World
The Caribbean
The Caribbean is the greatest winter golf escape on earth — and it has never been better than it is right now. Morning rounds where the tour pros play, afternoons at the beach. Golf in the jungle with views of ocean and mountains, along the coast, amid swaying palms. The sun and surf that once held Caribbean golf back were beaten by the turf technology of the late 90s, and what stands today is irresistible: hot sun, warm breezes, beautiful vistas, blue seas and alluring fairways, a short flight from the US East Coast and Canada.
Our most popular Caribbean destination is the Dominican Republic — the fastest-growing golf destination in the world. Teeth of the Dog at Casa de Campo is ranked among the top 35 courses on the planet and number one in the Caribbean; Corales and Punta Espada stand right beside it. Add Casa de Campo and Puntacana’s resort villages, the Bahamas, Jamaica and Barbados, sample packages ready to price, and hosted Caribbean departures — this is winter golf the way it should be.
Europe
Europe is where golf travel becomes a grand tour. A continent of contrasts with a storied tradition of great courses and resorts: Ryder Cup venues and European Tour stops scattered throughout — Le Golf National outside Paris, Valderrama and Finca Cortesín in Spain, Monte Rei in Portugal’s Algarve. And the growth is astonishing, especially in the warm south — Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece — where the climate means year-round golf.
With Executive Global Tours you get the culture with the golf. Our experienced local partners run the non-golf side — city breaks, sightseeing, wine country from Tuscany to the Douro — which is why our Europe trips are loved by mixed groups of golfers and non-golfers alike. One trip, everybody happy. Considering continental Europe? Call us for information and a sample itinerary, and we will build it properly.
Ireland and Scotland
The greatest links golf on earth, in the two countries that invented it. Welcoming Ireland and golf’s birthplace, Scotland, host the most famous links in the world. The Scots were playing in the 15th century; the game spread across the British Isles and to Ireland, and golfers from every corner of the globe now make the pilgrimage — Ballybunion, Lahinch, Tralee, Royal Portrush, Royal County Down; St Andrews, Carnoustie, Royal Dornoch, Turnberry.
Latin America
Latin America is golf’s exciting frontier — and the smart money is already there. New courses and resorts are rising across Central and South America, alongside the traditional greats: Argentina, Mexico and Costa Rica. Golf in Mexico and Central America runs nearly year-round, and when it’s winter in the USA it’s summer in Argentina — home to some 300 golf courses and some of the best-value great golf anywhere — and Uruguay.
Start with Mexico, where we run the table: El Camaleón at Mayakoba, a PGA Tour venue in the Riviera Maya, and Los Cabos — Quivira, Cabo del Sol and Puerto Los Cabos, home of our hosted Cabo departures. Then Argentina: the classic clubs of Buenos Aires, golf and wine in Mendoza, and the mountain courses of Patagonia. We are always improving our destination line-ups so our clients make the most of golf in Latin America.
United States
Many of the best golf resorts in the world are right here in the United States — from sea to shining sea. Pebble Beach and Bandon Dunes on the Pacific. Pinehurst and Kiawah Island in the Carolinas. TPC Sawgrass in Florida. The desert classics of Scottsdale. Golf vacations available 12 months of the year, at every level of luxury, without crossing an ocean.
Couples and groups of friends know the formula: play the best courses, enjoy a great destination at the same time. Combining your love of the sport with your love of travel takes thoughtful planning — and putting those pieces together is our job. A luxurious resort with championship courses, or a tour of America’s legendary greens: Executive Global Tours recommends only the premier golf vacation destinations in the country, and builds the trip around you.
