Costa del Sol — the lead region
The Costa del Sol is where most EGT Spain weeks begin. Base yourself in Marbella, Estepona or Málaga and you are close to championship golf, long beaches and the social side of Puerto Banús, with its marina, dining and evening scene.
Valderrama
Sotogrande. Host of the 1997 Ryder Cup, Valderrama is one of the most respected championship courses in Europe, a serious test framed by cork oak and olive trees.
Finca Cortesín
Host of the 2023 Solheim Cup, Finca Cortesín pairs championship golf with a luxury resort setting on the Costa del Sol.
Barcelona and Culture
Pair golf with one of the great city breaks of Europe. Barcelona brings Gaudí architecture, the Gothic Quarter, market lunches and long Mediterranean evenings, all within easy reach of the fairways.
El Prat
Barcelona. A championship course near Barcelona, El Prat is the natural golf anchor for a Barcelona stay.
Football experiences, including Camp Nou, can be arranged subject to venue access, with Camp Nou in its renovation era.
Costa Blanca
South of Valencia, the Costa Blanca pairs warm weather with beach resorts made for couples and groups, an easy second act to a Costa del Sol week.
La Manga
Murcia. A celebrated golf resort on the Mar Menor, La Manga is an easy addition to a Costa Blanca stay, with golf, beaches and resort life in one place.
Costa Brava — a hub for Girona golf
The Costa Brava works as a hub for Girona golf: a short stay built around one of the finest courses in Spain, with the medieval city of Girona and the wild coast close by.
Camiral
Girona. Formerly PGA Catalunya, Camiral is a championship layout set among pine forest and rolling hills, a favourite for golfers who know Spain well.
The Islands — Balearics and Canaries, the winter sun door
When the mainland cools, the islands keep the golf season going. Mallorca and Tenerife open the winter sun door, with island courses, island food and island pace.
Son Gual
Mallorca. A championship course in the Mallorcan countryside, Son Gual is a centrepiece of any Balearic golf week.
Alcanada
Mallorca. An island favourite on the north coast of Mallorca, Alcanada pairs sea views with a testing championship layout.
Abama
Tenerife. A dramatic championship course above the Atlantic, Abama anchors golf in the Canaries, the winter sun door of Spain.
Spanish Beach Resorts for non-golfers and couples
Spain is built for the whole party. Non-golfers and couples can spend the week on the beach, in the spa, in old towns and markets, or on long lunches by the sea, while golfers play, then meet for the evening together.
Food and wine in Spain
Spain is a food and wine destination in its own right. Tapas bars, market lunches, vineyard visits and long seaside dinners can shape the week as much as the golf, and every itinerary leaves room for the table.
Sports Legends and Alumni in Spain
Spain also opens the door to EGT sports legends and alumni experiences. Ask us what is possible around your dates, and we will build it into your week where it fits.
