Rugby Tours

Rugby weekends and world tours, built the EGT way — for the fans in the seats and the people travelling with them.

Executive Global Tours has spent 38 years building custom golf and sports travel, first and foremost for travellers from the USA and Canada. Rugby is a natural fit: a great fixture, a great city, and a group that wants the whole trip — not just the eighty minutes — to feel special.

That is why every EGT rugby trip runs a dual-track programme. Fans get the match, the build-up and the stories. Travelling companions get their own full programme — city touring, food and wine, culture and downtime — planned with the same care. Nobody is left to simply follow the rugby party around; everybody comes home with a trip of their own, and the group still shares its hotels, dinners and big moments together.

Rugby match action

Hosted by Rugby Legends

Many EGT rugby trips are hosted by rugby legends who travel with the group — not a five-minute appearance, but a host who stays with you, hosts dinners, leads the pre-match gathering and tells the stories you cannot hear anywhere else. Ask us who is hosting your dates.

Three Ways to Travel

Dublin Six Nations Weekend

An Ireland home fixture in the Six Nations, with match tickets, a Dublin base that puts the city at your feet, and time built around the game rather than rushed through it. Add golf either side of the match at Portmarnock or The Island, two of Ireland’s great links, while companions take in Dublin’s museums, distilleries, shopping and food scene. See also our Ireland rugby tour page.

Aviva Stadium, Dublin

Six Nations with a Legend

A hosted Six Nations weekend in Paris, Rome, Cardiff, Edinburgh or Dublin. Your legend host is with the group for dinners and the pre-match gathering, the tickets and hotel are sorted before you travel, and companions get a parallel city programme — galleries, markets, food tours and river time — while the fans soak up the stadium build-up.

The Road to the Final — Rugby World Cup 2027, Australia

Follow your team through the pool stages and on — quarter-finals, semi-finals, the bronze final and the Final in Sydney. EGT builds the travelling, hotels and tickets as one journey, adds golf in Australia on the spare days, and runs a partners’ parallel programme of Australian sightseeing, food and wine while the fans follow the rugby. Start with our Rugby World Cup 2027 page, then talk to us about building your road to the final.

France Rugby Legends & Supporters Tours

EGT’s premium France rugby category, built for American and Canadian supporters, alumni groups, former professional players, rugby clubs and corporate groups. This is more than attending a match. The experience stack: VIP sporting experiences at France’s great grounds; weekends hosted by former international players, who travel with the group and host its events; stadium visits; excellent hotels; French food and wine built into the programme; sightseeing in the great rugby cities; and exclusive hosted events across the weekend — the EGT game-watch night among them.

France is rugby’s biggest club country, and the Top 14 is the richest, loudest league in the world. Below are EGT’s sample weekend shapes for the eleven great French club addresses, and the international occasions in France that fans plan a year ahead for. Every club shape is a sample: fixtures are framed as “when the calendar puts the club at home,” and your weekend is confirmed against the real fixture before anything is booked. EGT is an independent tour operator; club names appear because they are where the fans want to be.

The France Rugby Experience Stack

Every France rugby weekend can be built from the same ten-part stack, shaped around your fixture, your group and your dates:

  • France international matches — Six Nations and Autumn Internationals in Paris.
  • Six Nations — the championship at Stade de France.
  • Top 14 matches — club rugby in Toulouse, Bordeaux, La Rochelle, Paris, Toulon, Clermont, Montpellier, Lyon, Pau and Perpignan.
  • European Champions Cup rugby — including the European Finals weekend.
  • Historic stadium visits — Stade de France and the great Top 14 grounds.
  • Meet former French international players and legends — hosted weekends and sporting discussion, with no host named and none signed.
  • Private rugby dinners and player Q&A events — built to order for your group.
  • Professional club training-facility visits where permitted — where permitted, and only where permitted.
  • French wine tastings and culinary experiences — from Bordeaux Grand Cru to Lyon gastronomy.
  • Combine rugby with sightseeing, golf and luxury accommodation — a full France weekend, not just a match.

The Club Shapes — Top 14 Country

  • Stade Toulousain — Toulouse (Stade Ernest-Wallon, 19,500). The most successful club in European rugby, in the pink city. Ernest-Wallon sells out as a matter of routine; the biggest matches move across town to the Stadium de Toulouse (around 33,000). Sample shape: Toulouse base, match day, the Capitole and a cassoulet dinner.
  • Stade Rochelais — La Rochelle (Stade Marcel-Deflandre, 18,000). The fortress by the Atlantic: the ground was expanded to 18,000 in 2025 and the club passed 100 consecutive sold-out home league matches — a streak still running. Plan early or don’t plan at all. Sample shape: La Rochelle base in the old port, match day, seafood on the harbour.
  • Union Bordeaux-Bègles — Bordeaux (Stade Chaban-Delmas, 34,462). The best-supported club side in world rugby — home crowds above 30,000 are normal here, and the biggest fixtures move to the city’s 42,000-seat stadium. Bordeaux adds the wine country to the weekend: a match and a Grand Cru tasting is a very EGT Saturday and Sunday.
  • Racing 92 — Paris (Paris La Défense Arena, around 30,000). Rugby indoors: a roofed arena in the La Défense business district, the match as a show. Pairs naturally with a Stade Français weekend — two Paris clubs, two Paris stadiums, one trip.
  • Stade Français Paris — Paris (Stade Jean-Bouin, around 20,000). The pink jerseys, in a ground that sits across the street from the Parc des Princes — Paris’s football and rugby heartbeats share one street. Sample shape: Paris base, match day, the city in full.
  • RC Toulon — Toulon (Stade Mayol, 17,500). The most fervid small ground in France, on the Mediterranean, with the Pilou-Pilou ringing out before kick-off. Sample shape: Toulon base, match day, the naval harbour and a boat morning.
  • ASM Clermont Auvergne — Clermont-Ferrand (Stade Marcel-Michelin, around 19,000). The Yellow Army in volcano country — one of Europe’s great home crowds, in a one-club town where match day is the whole week. Sample shape: Clermont base, match day, the Auvergne hills.
  • Montpellier — Montpellier (Septeo Stadium, 15,697). Top 14 rugby in the sunny south, a young city with an old centre, an easy add to a Languedoc or Provence trip. Sample shape: Montpellier base, match day, the Place de la Comédie and the coast at Palavas.
  • LOU Rugby — Lyon (Matmut Stadium de Gerland). A big-city Top 14 base with a long rugby history and a food-loving home crowd. Sample shape: a weekend based in Lyon — arrive Friday, a Top 14 match at Gerland on Saturday, guided sightseeing and a gastronomic dinner on Sunday, built on request around the fixture.
  • Section Paloise — Pau (Stade du Hameau). A proud Bearn club with the Pyrenees on the horizon. Sample shape: a weekend based in Pau — arrive Friday, a Top 14 match at the Hameau on Saturday, the city and the mountains on Sunday, built on request around the fixture.
  • USA Perpignan — Perpignan (Stade Aime-Giral). Catalan rugby at its loudest, close to the Mediterranean. Sample shape: a weekend based in Perpignan — arrive Friday, a Top 14 match at Aime-Giral on Saturday, the city and the coast on Sunday, built on request around the fixture.

Six Nations in Paris — Stade de France (81,338)

The championship’s grandest away trip. France’s two home fixtures in the 2027 Six Nations are both in Paris: France v Wales, Saturday February 6, 2027, and France v Scotland, Sunday February 21, 2027, at the Stade de France. EGT’s Paris shape: a hosted three-night weekend, match ticket and hotel together, the EGT game-watch night on the Friday as a named inclusion in the package, and Paris itself — the city does the rest. These weekends are built from the fixture announcement; tell us which match and we will shape yours.

Autumn Internationals in Paris

November is the other great Paris rugby window. In the new Nations Championship, France host the Springboks — France v South Africa, Friday November 13, 2026 — and France v Argentina, Saturday November 21, 2026, both under the lights at the Stade de France. (France also played Fiji in Lyon on November 7, in the same championship — French international rugby travels beyond Paris, and so do we.) Autumn shapes run two or three nights, hosted, with the game-watch night included.

Lyon 2027 — European Finals Weekend (OL Stadium, Lyon)

Both European club finals, one city, one weekend — and the finalists aren’t known until spring, which is exactly why fans book the weekend first and the allegiance later. Challenge Cup Final, Friday May 21, 2027; Champions Cup Final, Saturday May 22, 2027, at Lyon’s OL Stadium (59,186). EGT’s shape: three nights in Lyon, both finals, the Champions Village atmosphere, and France’s gastronomic capital as the base — bouchons between the matches. When the finalists are confirmed, the same page and the same weekend simply fill in. If a finals weekend sells out, this page stays live as a waiting list — we never take a page down and lose the fans who found it.

The Top 14 Final — Stade de France, June 2027

The Brennus Shield, decided under the Paris lights: the Top 14 Final returns to the Stade de France in June 2027 (the semi-finals run the weekend before, in Bordeaux). The final is a hospitality-led occasion — premium seats and hospitality are the realistic route in — and EGT builds hosted Paris weekends around it on request. Register your interest early; this is the hardest club ticket in France.

The hosted difference: competitors sell French rugby unhosted, where they sell it at all. EGT travels with the group — a former-international host on hosted weekends, the game-watch night in the package, deposits in escrow. Call (914) 979-2247 to shape your French rugby weekend.
