Greece Golf Tours
Ancient Athens, olive groves older than empires, and some of the finest new golf in Europe — Greece is a journey through 5,000 years of history with a golf bag over your shoulder. Executive Global Tours pairs the wonder of Athens with Costa Navarino in Messinia, the resort destination that has put Greece firmly on the world golf map.
Our Greece trips are hosted, small-group journeys built for golfers and non-golfers alike. Play in the morning, taste olive oil where it has been made for centuries in the afternoon, and dine under the stars at night. Everyone is welcome, and every detail is handled.
Costa Navarino — Greece’s Great Golf Destination
On the Ionian coast of Messinia, in the southwest Peloponnese, Costa Navarino has quietly become one of the Mediterranean’s finest golf destinations. It was built with a philosophy EGT admires: promote Messinia to the world while protecting it — its natural beauty, and a cultural heritage stretching back some 4,500 years, preserved rather than paved over.
The scale is remarkable. Four five-star resorts share the destination — Mandarin Oriental Costa Navarino, W Costa Navarino, The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, and The Westin Resort Costa Navarino — alongside three spa centres, more than 40 dining venues, and a full programme of sports, outdoor and cultural activities. At its heart sits Navarino Agora, a lively marketplace of shops, restaurants and entertainment woven together with art and cultural events.
And then there is the golf: four signature 18-hole courses. The Dunes Course plays through varied natural scenery with sea and river views, named for the tall dunes that stand between several holes and a golden beach. The Bay Course looks out over sea and mountains, with two holes running along the historic Bay of Navarino itself. At Navarino Hills, The International Olympic Academy Golf Course and The Hills Course offer a sterner test — and sunsets golfers talk about long after the round.
Talk to EGT about Costa Navarino. Our recommendation: pair it with a short Athens city break, or fly direct into Kalamata, just 21 miles away (Athens is roughly a four-hour drive). It also combines beautifully with a second European destination — tell us where else is on your list and we will build the journey around both.
Championship Courses & Highlights
- Costa Navarino – The Dunes Course – Designed by Bernhard Langer with European Golf Design, Greece’s first signature course runs beside the Ionian Sea through ancient olive groves. The one that started it all.
- Costa Navarino – The Bay Course – Robert Trent Jones Jr’s coastal beauty hugs the historic Bay of Navarino, with seaside holes and views on every shot.
- Costa Navarino – International Olympic Academy Golf Course – José María Olazábal’s hilltop masterpiece at Navarino Hills, the world’s first International Olympic Academy golf course, with panoramic views over the bay and the Ionian Sea.
- Costa Navarino – The Hills Course – Olazábal’s second Navarino Hills layout, carved through dramatic ravines and pine-covered slopes — a big, bold test in a wild setting.
- Athens – The Acropolis, the Plaka’s lanes and tavernas, and world-class museums. The perfect opening chapter before the golf begins.
Costa Navarino was named the World’s Best Golf Venue at the World Golf Awards 2024 — and with multiple five-star resorts, spas and dining villages gathered along one stretch of Messinian coastline, it is easy to see why.
Greece for the Non-Golfer
EGT groups are always a mix, and in Greece the non-golfers may have the best of it. In Athens: the Acropolis and its museum with a private guide, the old town lanes of the Plaka, and a food tour through markets and family tavernas.
In Messinia: olive oil tastings among the groves that made Kalamata famous, the Palace of Nestor and ancient Messene, the harbour town of Pylos, and Voidokilia — a perfect crescent of white sand often called one of Europe’s most beautiful beaches. Add resort spa days, boat trips on Navarino Bay, and long lunches in waterfront villages like Gialova, and nobody is waiting around for the golfers.

Golf & Food in Greece
Greek food is reason enough to come. Messinia is one of Greece’s great larders: extra-virgin olive oil from centuries-old groves, Kalamata olives, local wines, honey, and seafood landed the same morning. We build tastings, taverna lunches and a cooking experience into our Greece trips as standard — for golfers and non-golfers together.
Why Greece with EGT
Executive Global Tours has been crafting custom golf and sports travel for 38 years. JP Cone, who founded the company after starting in Ireland tourism at just 16, leads many of our tours himself — you travel with the man whose name is on the door, not a stranger with a clipboard.
We keep our groups small, our hotels five-star, and our welcome wide: golfers, non-golfers, couples, friends, clubs and societies all travel happily together with EGT. Tell us your dates and your group, and we will build the Greece trip around you.
