Seven days, six counties, one unforgettable appetite. The Ireland Food Trail is EGT’s scheduled small-group journey for travellers who plan their holidays around food — capped at 15 guests and guided throughout by a private driver-guide who knows every producer, publican and chef on the route.
From a Dublin food walking tour to Galway’s oyster beds — with whiskey, cider, cheese and smokehouses in between — this is Ireland at its most delicious, shared with a small group of fellow food lovers.

The Route: Dublin to Galway
Days 1–2 — Dublin. Arrive in Dublin and dive straight in: a guided food walking tour through the city’s tastiest quarters, plus a whiskey distillery visit with a tutored tasting.
Day 3 — Kilkenny. South to the medieval city: the Smithwick’s Experience, a tasting at a local orchard cider producer, and Kilkenny Castle.
Day 4 — Cork. A morning at the English Market — Ireland’s most famous food market — tasting and foraging with your guide, then an afternoon to explore Cork.
Day 5 — Kinsale & West Cork. Seafood in Kinsale, Ireland’s gourmet capital, then into West Cork to meet artisan smokehouse and farmhouse cheese producers.
Days 6–7 — The Burren & Galway. A Burren food stop on the road west, finishing in Galway: oysters, the Latin Quarter and a farewell dinner.
